Cape Lily ("we," "our," or "us") operates the wallpaper visualizer at visualizer.capelily.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

• Room Photos: When you use the wallpaper visualizer, you upload or capture a photo of your room. This image is processed to generate a visualization of how our wallpaper patterns would look in your space.
• Quote Request Information: If you request a quote, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and any message you provide, along with details about the wallpaper pattern you selected and the generated visualization.
• Usage Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data such as page views and feature interactions to improve our service.

How We Use Your Data

• Room photos are used solely to generate wallpaper visualizations. We do not use your photos for marketing, training, or any purpose beyond providing the visualization service.
• Quote request data is used to respond to your inquiry about our wallpaper products and provide pricing information.
• Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand how visitors interact with the service and to improve the user experience.

Third-Party Processing

To generate wallpaper visualizations, your room photos are processed by the Google Gemini API, a third-party artificial intelligence service provided by Google. This means your room photo is sent to Google's servers for image processing.

Google processes this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Data Processing Terms. We do not permit Google to use your photos for training their AI models.

Data Retention

• Room photos and generated visualizations are automatically deleted from our servers after 30 days. Photos associated with active quote requests are retained until the request is closed.
• Quote request data (name, email, phone, message) is retained for up to one year, after which it is archived or deleted.
• Analytics data is retained in anonymized, aggregated form and cannot be used to identify individual users.

Cookies

Our service uses cookies primarily for admin authentication via Firebase Authentication. Public visitors who use the visualizer or browse the catalog do not need to sign in, and no authentication cookies are set for them. We use Firebase Analytics which may set cookies to collect anonymized usage data. We also use localStorage to remember your cookie consent preference.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal data, including any room photos, visualizations, and quote request information.
• Right to Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal data.
• Right to Opt Out: You may opt out of analytics data collection by using browser-level tracking prevention or by contacting us.

These rights apply under regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU residents and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents.
